We kicked off the 2009 wedding season in Okoboji with young chiropractors in love, Leah + Lee. To add some (more) meat to my already excessive and extremely thorough wedding coverage, I decided to try a pseudo-photobooth on the sidelines of the reception. The bride was obliging when I asked if I could experiment on her and brave friends and family. My lovely sidekick, Sarah, manned the camera while I covered the reception. So, if you don’t care for them, you’ll have to break it to her.
What’s that crazy lighting effect, you ask? It’s called a ringlight, sometimes loved by photographers, sometimes hated, always unique.
To all my future clients, if you were considering a photobooth or you’re interested in adding something like this to your wedding photography, let’s talk.
For those of you that were in attendance and were sober enough to not lose the business cards handed to you, here’s a LINK to all the pictures. The password is the bride’s last name (she’s keeping her name so it’s not Lee’s).
Bon appetit.
