The true start of our 2009 wedding season took place in northwestern Iowa, Everly and Okoboji specifically, under conditions that, to put it kindly, blatantly mocked the halcyon idea of spring. As is always the case, I was the one most troubled by the weather. Leah + Lee and their friends and family weren’t going to let any gale force winds, sleet or snow, get in the way of their fun. Undaunted, and up through the frozen ground, love blossomed again.
